The word Nenmani means " Paddy Pearl " in the Indian regional language, Malayalam. Our rice is endowed with more protein, carbohydrates, crude fiber and calcium compared to white Rice. Red Rice is found to be congenial for growth in children, convalescing adults and those with a tendency to conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, gastric problems and ischaemic heart disease.
